Christoph Ingenhoven

"Is there a more beautiful place than here to contemplate Europe?" Christoph Ingenhoven would like to cut the Gordian knot of the castle discussion and soothe the nerves with a park on the site of the castle square and Marx-Engels Forum. Like Central Park in Manhattan, a park between 'Unter den Linden‘ and Alexanderplatz would develop an identity of its own. It would also provide time for a moratorium, at the end of which the redevelopment of the castle area with a truly worthwhile, necessary and appropriate use could take place – or the decision made to keep the park.

Taking part as speakers:
Kristin Feireiss Berlin/Rotterdam
Dr. Niklas Maak Süddeutsche Zeitung

At the exhibition, Aedes includes a call for a moratorium to which all friends of architecture, citizens and visitors to this city may like to add their names. You can indicate your support by adding your signature and expressing your views at the Aedes West Gallery or by e-mail to [email protected].

An Aedes catalogue will be published
